About The Position

Carvana is hiring an experienced automotive painter to work in one of its high-tech Inspection Centers, where vehicles are inspected and reconditioned before being listed for sale. The painter is expected to be highly skilled in applying base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and paint correcting vehicles. The position is on the second shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., and may involve mandatory overtime based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and possession of a valid driver’s license; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
