About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Automotive Painter for its vehicle reconditioning operation. The role involves matching and mixing paint colors and using water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths. The position is part of a fast-paced, changing production environment, where employees may sometimes be exposed to heat or cold. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime on Saturdays and possible mandatory overtime based on business needs. The stated pay rate is $26–$35 per hour, and the role includes a $6,000 bonus. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Must pass a complete background check.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
