Senior Associate, UX Design

Kyndryl•Frisco, TX

About The Position

Kyndryl Vital is seeking a UX Designer to work on complex client challenges involving critical systems. The Senior Associate, UX Design will own significant portions of client design workstreams, collaborating with lead designers from research and requirements through detailed design, polished high-fidelity visual design, prototyping, and delivery. The role involves understanding client users and business needs, presenting work in design reviews, partnering with engineering, data, and consulting teams, and iterating on solutions based on stakeholder and user feedback. The role also includes designing experiences involving AI, including agentic systems that plan and act before handing work back to people. The designer will map journeys and create service blueprints spanning human and AI actors, design human-in-the-loop hand-offs, and develop interaction patterns that address latency, ambiguity, uncertainty, and errors while keeping users informed and in control. The designer will prototype and test human/AI interactions with users and develop a perspective on where automation best serves people. This is a generalist UX design role, not limited to AI. Work may also include dashboards, web and enterprise applications, design systems, service design, and client-facing workshops. The position is part of Kyndryl Vital, a global network of designers, engineers, writers, researchers, and strategists focused on helping clients address complexity and create effective experience ecosystems.
