Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations, DoorDash for Business (Merchant)
About The Position
DoorDash for Business is building a corporate dining and benefits platform to help companies provide food programs for their teams. The Strategy & Operations Senior Associate will pilot and scale product features that improve delivery quality, including timeliness, accuracy, labeling, and ways to address problems. The role shapes the experience of clients, Dashers, and merchants throughout the order journey. This is a build-and-launch role involving cross-functional design of testing frameworks and go-to-market plans, as well as translating insights from customers and partners into product improvements. The Senior Associate will work across support, analytics, and product functions. The position reports to the Manager, Strategy & Operations for DoorDash for Business and may be remote or hybrid, depending on preference.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in strategy and operations, commercial management, operations, or consulting.
- Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, meeting goals, and succeeding in a complex, fast-moving environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to deliver actionable recommendations from complex datasets.
- Customer-focused approach and comfort working with people from varied backgrounds.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, solve difficult problems, and adapt to rapid change.

- Intermediate SQL experience.
Responsibilities
- Use data-driven decision-making and business judgment to run tests and lead product and feature improvement efforts.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to improve tools that drive quality.
- Build models to evaluate economics and patterns, and turn data into clear decisions.
- Design and run test plans and initiatives that measurably improve merchant and Dasher quality.
- Collaborate with sales, partner management, operations, product, engineering, and business development to improve experiences for merchants, Dashers, and clients.
- Help design testing frameworks and go-to-market plans, and turn audience insights into product improvements.
