This full-time position implements and coordinates the Aurora Health Care Asset Investment Recovery (AIR) program, aiming to achieve optimal value through effective redeployment and disposal of materials and assets. The role also serves as a project coordinator for large facility projects involving significant asset investment recovery. Key responsibilities include assigning and monitoring AIR staff schedules, providing guidance to internal and external partners, overseeing the entire AIR program process, and acting as a resource for asset retirement and disposal. The coordinator will develop relationships with stakeholders to gather information and evaluate assets, assist in policy and procedure development, and manage the Authorization for Disposal (AFD) form and database. The role involves analyzing trade-in, leased, or rental assets to maximize recovery, managing the retirement and disposal of specialized fixed assets, and educating staff on the AIR program's benefits. Collaboration with Capital Equipment Services, Clinical Engineering, Finance, and Information Services is crucial for developing financial reporting tools and compiling reports on program activity, savings, and cost avoidance. The position also assists in developing marketing plans, establishing selling prices, seeking customer bases, negotiating sales, and evaluating bids.
