About The Position

IPS by Nayax, a division of Nayax, is a design, engineering, and manufacturing company focused on low-power wireless telecommunications and parking technologies. It manufactures products locally and has served the telecommunications and parking industries for 25 years, including with its patented credit-card-enabled, solar-powered single-space parking meter and web-based management system. The Senior AP Specialist joins the Accounting Department and supports its day-to-day operations, taking ownership of accounts payable activities. The role processes vendor invoices and payments, records and reconciles accounts payable transactions, maintains vendor and payment records, supports month-end reconciliations, and provides documentation for annual audits.

Requirements

Prior accounts payable experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of NetSuite ERP.
Knowledge of Bill.com or similar payment tools.

Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices, verify charges, and obtain internal management approvals in accordance with company policy.
Prepare weekly check runs and ACH/wire requests.
Record accounts payable transactions in the appropriate general ledger accounts in NetSuite.
Monitor and reconcile assigned company credit card activity.
Import approved credit card activity into the NetSuite ERP system.
Monitor recurring accounts payable activity for missed invoices or payments.
Maintain accounts payable files and records, including invoice copies, approved vendor payment methods, and tax and insurance information for new payees.
Assist with month-end accounts payable reconciliations, including credit card and purchase order reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain accounts payable reports, including aging reports.
Provide supporting documentation for annual audits.
