Requirements

Proven technical ownership with several years of productive development experience; as a Senior, responsibility for systems, domains, and architectural decisions through to operation.
Experience bringing LLM, RAG, or agentic applications to production, not just as prototypes; as a Senior, technical responsibility for such a system.
Agentic engineering: AI agents as a core part of your engineering workflow, with validation loops and clear responsibility for productive outcomes.
Deep technical understanding: Very good backend knowledge, proficiency in APIs and system integration; testing, security, and operations are integral parts of your work.
Solution design & customer context: Ability to assess and recommend AI options based on effort, benefit, feasibility, and risks; as a Senior, ability to design solutions directly with the customer.
Technical leadership: Share knowledge within the team and in reviews; as a Senior, empower other engineers and create reusable components.
User experience sensibility: Understanding whether an AI function truly helps users is part of your quality assessment.
Communication: Negotiable German in customer contexts and confident English.
Experience with TypeScript (Node.js/NestJS), PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, REST/GraphQL.
Experience with Python for evaluation and data preparation.
Familiarity with vector databases, evaluation frameworks, and observability tools.
Knowledge of MCP and comparable agent protocols.
Understanding of impact measurement, data analysis, and cost/quality control of AI systems.
Practical knowledge of EU AI Act, data protection, and AI labeling.
