Senior AI Factory Product Builder, United States - BCG X

Boston Consulting Group•Washington, DC
•$99,000 - $123,800•Hybrid

About The Position

The Senior AI Factory Product Builder works within BCG’s centralized AI Factory to build AI-enabled products, tools, and delivery assets that scale across the firm. The role focuses on accelerating delivery, improving quality, and evolving how BCG teams work and support clients. The Product Builder works with front-line consultants, offer teams, and product leadership to identify repeatable challenges and opportunities, then designs, builds, and deploys AI-powered solutions—including agents, services, and workflows—for adoption across practices, regions, and client contexts. Success is measured by shipped assets, adoption by consulting teams, and tangible effects on delivery speed and quality. The role combines product thinking, applied AI, and hands-on execution. It involves using exposure to real client workflows to break apart processes, identify leverage points, and rapidly develop and deploy AI solutions, including agents built with Claude Code and other leading AI tools. Successful solutions are turned into reusable assets, patterns, and accelerators. The work bridges consulting judgment, technical execution, and long-term capability building, with attention to usability for nontechnical teams, BCG standards, security, robustness, and maintainability. The role is suited to a hands-on builder with a bias toward action and experimentation, who turns ambiguous ideas into usable products, takes ownership, and improves solutions through feedback and usage data. Employees must live within reasonable commuting distance of their home office and are expected to work in the office as directed. The position may require extended working hours at times.
