About The Position

The Senior Account Manager works within EY's Sales Activation team and is responsible for collaborating with the Global Client Service Partner (GCSP), Sales Executive (SE), and Account Leads to drive account strategy and innovation, foster client relationship growth, accelerate sales, and develop talent. This role ensures cross-service line and cross-geography team integration for EY's largest and most complex global accounts, delivering exceptional client service in all interactions. The role specifically supports strategic clients headquartered in the San Francisco area, requiring strong local engagement with client stakeholders. The candidate is expected to maintain a regular presence on-site with the client as business needs dictate, building relationships, enabling collaboration, and driving account growth and delivery excellence.

Requirements

  • 10-12 plus years of account management or similar relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Effective influencing and relationship building skills with strong executive presence.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree (emphasis in Marketing or Business preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Managing one Premier or Strategic account and one focus account within the Private Equity Sector, driving key activities of EY’s Account Management Framework.
  • Co-developing account strategy with the GCSP and SE to drive global execution of account plans.
  • Facilitating service line planning activity, account integration, pursuit support, and pipeline development with discipline and rigor.
  • Serving as a strategic advisor and knowledge hub for the account, connecting client priorities and industry trends with EY capabilities, growth drivers, and innovative solutions across the global network.
  • Leveraging the global EY network to connect clients to the right people, focusing on sales pipeline generation, relationship development, and deal coaching within the account.
  • Owning the Client Experience (CX) process by developing the plan, leading/attending interviews, and driving action after interviews and year-end follow-up.
