About The Position
We are hiring dedicated Semi-Local Class A CDL drivers based in Manteno, Illinois, for a dedicated Lowe’s account. Drivers deliver preloaded appliances to Lowe’s cross-docks across Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan. The freight is 100% no-touch, and routes are time-sensitive and service-critical. Drivers use 53-foot containers with swing doors and International sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions. Trucks are assigned rather than slip-seated and remain at the Manteno account while drivers are off duty. The role offers frequent home time on semi-local routes. Average earnings are listed as $1,826 per week ($95,000 per year), with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and additional pay for mileage, live stops, long drop-and-hook stops, detention, safety training, holidays, and new-hire training. PTO accrues from day one, and paid holidays are offered.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical card.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
- No specific endorsements required.

- Operate time-sensitive, service-critical semi-local routes.
