About The Position
The CDL-A Local Driver delivers dedicated local water freight from Aurora, Colorado, primarily to distribution centers throughout Colorado. The average haul is 17 miles, with an average of 2.6 turns per shift. Freight is no-touch. Drivers must park their trucks at the Aurora distribution center after each shift. The role is home daily and averages approximately 5.5 workdays per week, with 10-hour shifts. Anticipated start times are 12:00 AM–4:00 AM or 2:00 PM–5:00 PM. Average weekly pay is $1,450, with average annualized pay of $106,878. Pay is based on mileage bands, and safety bonus incentives are available.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Drivers with SAP status are not eligible.
- Reliable transportation for daily commutes to the facility.
