CDL-A Semi-Local Driver – No-Touch Freight+ Holiday Bonus
About The Position
Drive semi-local dedicated freight from the Smithfield, North Carolina area. The operation is no-touch and covers deliveries within a 300-mile radius of Tar Heel, NC, with approximately 1,500 miles per week. Drivers receive per-load pay for runs up to 189 miles, then pay by the mile (CPM). Average weekly pay is $1,160, average annual pay is $60,320, top weekly pay is $1,550, and top annualized earnings are $80,453. A $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus and opportunities for safe and on-time bonuses are offered. Shifts are approximately 12 hours, with start times between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Drivers can choose a Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedule. Night driving, weekends, holidays, and at least two overnight layovers per week are required. Drivers are home 3–4 times weekly when customer needs allow and may stay out overnight once per week. On-site office staff and maintenance support are available.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work.
- Availability for night driving, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
