CDL-A Night Driver – No-Touch Freight+ Holiday Bonus
About The Position
The CDL-A Semi-Local Driver operates a dedicated freight route based in Smithfield, North Carolina. The position involves no-touch freight, approximately 1,500 miles per week, and deliveries within a 300-mile radius of Tar Heel, North Carolina. Drivers are paid per load for runs up to 189 miles and then by cents per mile (CPM). Average weekly pay is $1,170, average annual pay is $60,320, top weekly pay is $1,550, and top annualized earnings are $80,453. There is also an opportunity for a safe and on-time bonus and a $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus. Start times range from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with shifts lasting approximately 12 hours. Drivers may choose a Sunday-through-Thursday or Tuesday-through-Saturday schedule. Night driving, weekends, and holidays are required. The role involves at least two overnight layovers per week. Drivers are home three to four times weekly when customer needs allow and may stay out overnight once per week. On-site office staff and maintenance support are available.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work.
- Availability for night driving, weekends, and holidays.
