WALMART CDL-A Local Driver – No-Touch Freight + Holiday Bonus
About The Position
Drive a dedicated local retail delivery account for Walmart in Colton, California. The role involves no-touch freight and multi-stop deliveries, typically one to two stops per day. The delivery territory includes the Los Angeles Basin, Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego County. Drivers use day-cab trucks in a slip-seat operation; trucks cannot be taken home, and reliable transportation to and from work is required. The operation runs 24 hours a day, with start times assigned according to operational needs after onboarding. Drivers average approximately 1,700 miles per week and are home daily. Six-day workweeks may be required during peak seasons, with one day off. Compensation includes mileage-band pay, stop pay, detention pay, and a $1,000 holiday start bonus.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
- Flexibility with assigned start times and peak-season schedules.
Responsibilities
- Deliver retail freight on a dedicated local account.
- Complete no-touch, multi-stop deliveries, typically one to two stops per day.
- Drive within the Los Angeles Basin, Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego County.
- Work assigned start times and, during peak seasons, potentially six days per week.
