About The Position

Drivers based in Manteno, Illinois, make semi-local appliance deliveries to Midwest cross docks across Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan. Loads are pre-loaded, and the freight is no-touch. Drivers receive an assigned International automatic sleeper truck with no slip-seating. The role offers frequent home time, typically with one or two nights out in the truck each week.

The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with an occasional sixth day to cover absences or during peak season. Evening start times are between 7 PM and 10 PM, according to the customer’s schedule. Workdays are 10–11 hours, totaling about 50–55 hours per week. Drivers are off on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Pay is activity-based, including mileage and stop pay, with an advertised average of $95,000 per year. The position also offers a $10,000 bonus plan, paid holidays, detention pay, safety bonus opportunities, paid online orientation and training, and PTO from day one. Medical, dental, and vision coverage begins after 30 days, and the company offers a 401(k) with company match.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• No SAP drivers.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical card.
• Comfortable with time-sensitive deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver appliances to cross docks across Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan.
