About The Position

As the full-time Selling Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's go-to person for developing and implementing the business strategy and leading the store's daily operations. You train and coach the team to become high-performing sellers who consistently provide an outstanding guest experience, achieve sales goals, maintain merchandising brand standards, and deliver operational excellence. You are expected to represent the company's values and bring your authentic self to work.

Requirements

Previous experience leading teams in a retail management role.
Ability to multitask, attention to detail, and strong priority-setting and time-management skills.
Ability to lead and develop teams.
General understanding of employment law.
Business acumen.
Flexible availability to work when guests shop.

Responsibilities

Drive sales as a Leader on Duty by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a high-quality guest experience.
Analyze reports and daily trends to make strategic business decisions and contribute to the store's financial success.
Partner with the Store Team Leader on short- and long-term business plans to drive key KPIs.
Motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values, model effective leadership, and hold associates accountable to customer service standards.
Recruit and hire talent to ensure the store is staffed to meet business needs.
Train and develop associates to provide outstanding service.
Provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching; prioritize team touch bases, development plans, and performance reviews.
Drive associate engagement by recognizing and celebrating team performance.
Execute and improve daily operational procedures and support maintenance of visual standards throughout the store.
Ensure Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and meet AEO Brand Standards.
Maintain store safety standards, follow Asset Protection standards, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
