About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the course ECO-6900 C00, Selected Topics in Economic Theory, during the Winter 2027 semester at the University of Ottawa. The Faculty is the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Academic Unit is the Department of Economics. The course is taught in English and has an expected enrollment of 24 students. The position is limited to a Regular Part-Time Professor. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The hourly rate for teaching is $239.47 (2024-2025), which does not include vacation or statutory pay. These rates are applicable until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity paid after ratification. Requirements

  • Diplôme d'études de 3e cycle (doctorat) en science économique, avec spécialisation dans le domaine du cours (en personne).
  • PhD degree in economics with specialisation in the area of the course (in person).
