About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Clinical Psychology (PSY4372, Section C00) during the Winter 2027 semester. The course covers roles, practices, and ethical issues in clinical psychology, assessment, intervention modalities and orientations, and the role of research. The course is offered in person on Mondays from 16:00-17:30 and Wednesdays from 14:30-16:00. The expected enrollment is 60 students, and the course is worth 3 credits. The hourly rate for teaching is $239.47 (2024-2025 rates), which does not include vacation or statutory pay. These rates are subject to change upon ratification of a new collective agreement, with retroactive pay provided after ratification. Requirements

Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology.
Competence in a second language (passive).
Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.

Responsibilities

Teach Clinical Psychology (PSY4372, Section C00) during the Winter 2027 semester.
Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (in-person or virtual) without modification unless approved by the Vice-Dean of Governance.
Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat promptly if a class needs to be cancelled.
Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor if aware in advance of an upcoming absence.
