About The Position

The Security professional helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling assigned locations. The role preserves order while enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. It involves frequent interaction with client employees and guests, customer service, property tours, use of technology devices, and responding appropriately to emergencies and stressful situations.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Great attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises and control access to help maintain a safe and secure environment.
Patrol assigned locations and conduct tours of the property.
Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.
Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
Ensure post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Carry out other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
