This role involves performing installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of various security systems including Intrusion Alarm Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, Network infrastructure, PA Systems, Fire Alarm, and other PC-based Systems. The technician will be responsible for installation and verification activities on security-related equipment for large installations, including testing and commissioning. They will also interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, and specifications, complete "As Built" drawings, and conduct system acceptance tests with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and other parties. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product lines and consulting with clients to assess risk and determine security requirements are also key aspects of the position.
