About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Surveillance Security Officer in Dayton, New Jersey. The role involves monitoring surveillance systems and screens to detect suspicious activity and identify potential threats before they escalate. The officer will help protect people and property in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

The position is scheduled for Monday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at an hourly wage of $24. GardaWorld provides a uniform at no cost and offers career growth opportunities. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong computer skills and proficiency with technology.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity, strong observation skills, attention to detail, and exceptional concentration.
• Have a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.

• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
