Security Shift Supervisor Part Time

About The Position

As a Security Shift Supervisor in Apex, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients at a professional site. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provide customer service to visitors and staff, communicate clearly, document activities using computer or tablet systems, and respond professionally to evolving situations. The position is part-time, scheduled Friday and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at $24.00 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor and patrol assigned areas while maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
Communicate clearly with visitors and staff and document activities using computer or tablet systems.
