About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising shift staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the position is part time. Pay is $22 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Be able to prepare written reports and logs frequently in neat, legible handwriting.
• Be able to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• For driving positions, have a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record under the stated criteria, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Be able to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on the assigned shift.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
