About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time surveillance security professional for a site in Dayton, New Jersey. The role involves monitoring security systems, spotting potential threats, documenting incidents, responding to security concerns, conducting patrols, controlling access, and helping protect people and property. The stated schedule is Monday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the hourly wage is $24. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have strong computer skills and proficiency with technology.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• CCURE 9000 experience; preferred but not required.
• Genetec experience; preferred but not required.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
