About The Position

The Security Supervisor directs and coordinates Security Officers carrying out CFI, Inc. security programs under the direction of the Director of Security and/or General Manager. The role oversees resort security operations, investigations, surveillance, security systems, emergency response, and special-event security while providing customer service to guests and supporting the needs of resort departments. The supervisor also ensures that security personnel follow corporate policies and applicable state law, and that resort disaster plans, emergency procedures, and standard operating procedures are followed.

Requirements

At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
Class D License.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong computer skills, including the ability to prepare clear, professional reports.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Red Cross certification, CPR, AED, and First Aid.

Responsibilities

Supervise Security Officers and coordinate their activities.
Direct and/or conduct internal criminal and civil investigations and liaise with law enforcement and emergency services personnel.
Provide outstanding customer service to guests and resort visitors and respond to the flexible needs of other departments.
Use a computer to prepare incident reports, read and respond to email, research safety standards and procedures, maintain security systems, and maintain electronic key control.
Ensure subordinate employees perform their duties in accordance with corporate policies and state law regulating security officers.
Supervise and/or conduct incident investigations as required by policy, using a computer.
Respond to critical incidents, assume control of incident scenes, and respond to fire alarms.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of security systems, electronic lock security, and key-control access systems.
Conduct resort surveillance by vehicle, on foot, and by video, including at pools and storage lots.
Coordinate and supervise special-event security.
Attend and participate in operational, staff, safety committee, and risk management meetings as directed.
Ensure Westgate disaster plans, emergency procedures, and standard operating procedures are followed.
