About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a professional Security Shift Supervisor to oversee a college campus patrol in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The position is full-time, with shifts available in the morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight. Candidates should be flexible to work Sunday through Saturday. The supervisor coordinates quality services during an assigned shift and serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. The role includes supervising staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. It involves daily interaction with the general public, clients, and staff, and requires strong customer service skills.

Requirements

• Supervisory experience.
• At least 2 years of security experience.
• New York State Security Guard License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Ability to work in cold, rainy, snowy, or hot conditions.
• Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds, occasionally climb stairs, ramps, or ladders, and stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• For driving positions: valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record as specified in the posting, insurance meeting company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a college campus patrol and coordinate quality security services on an assigned shift.
