About The Position

As a Security Officer in Kenosha, Wisconsin, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology-focused location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and guests. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to evolving situations.

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.75 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, technology areas, parking lots, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
