About The Position

Responsible for providing for the safety and security of guests, employees, property, and company assets. The Security Officer circulates through hotel, casino, and outdoor areas to look for possible disturbances, illegal activity, or safety hazards and takes appropriate action. Patrols may be conducted on foot and/or in a company-supplied vehicle. The role responds to emergencies in accordance with applicable laws and company and departmental policies and procedures, secures all keys, and completes paperwork related to shift activities. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift.
• Must be able to lift, reach, kneel, bend, and undergo episodes of moderate to strenuous physical exertion.
• May be required to possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the Company and/or its insurers.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and/or licenses.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in casino security or a similar field is preferred.
