About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to serve at a financial institution location in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role combines a professional front-desk presence and customer service with access control, visitor management, badge processing, and driving duties. The officer helps maintain a secure environment by following site procedures, responding to incidents, and communicating professionally with visitors, employees, vendors, and site contacts.

Requirements

At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Access control and badge experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide a welcoming, professional front-desk presence and customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors.
Verify visitor credentials, issue temporary badges, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests according to site-specific procedures.
Answer and route incoming calls, provide general information, and communicate visitor arrivals or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
Carry out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, and document relevant details according to established procedures.
