As a Security Officer Patrol in Marion, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture. Through teamwork and integrity, you will help create a welcoming, protected environment for employees and visitors.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
