About The Position

GardaWorld is hiring a full-time Campus Security Officer in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (40 hours per week) and pays $17.50 per hour. The officer provides customer-focused security services at an assigned campus property, monitors activity, supports safety procedures, and responds to critical situations. The position requires a CPR certificate and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• At least 1 year of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• CPR certificate.
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
• State license, if required.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Experience with access control.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols around the property.
• Deter vagrants from the property.
• Supervise and manage employees at the assigned job site.
• Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with the client at the assigned site.
• Exercise independent judgment and sound decision-making while performing duties.
• Observe and survey the area and report activity at the assigned location.
• Regulate traffic and enforce traffic laws on the property.
• De-escalate verbal altercations.
• Respond rapidly in critical situations.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
