About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor for a hospital assignment. The supervisor oversees and coordinates quality service delivery during an assigned shift and serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. The role includes supervising staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Possess effective written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work professionally with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Be able to prepare written reports and logs frequently in neat, legible handwriting.
• Be able to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol testing; a driver record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• For driving positions: possess a valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the stated violation limits, insurance at the level required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
