About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The listed pay rate is $24.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old; the posting also states that applicants must be 21 or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law and may be required before employment.
• For driving positions: valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the stated criteria, insurance meeting company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
