About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role also supervises staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Be able to prepare written reports and logs frequently in neat, legible handwriting.
• Be able to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment depending on state or local laws and regulations.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Be able to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• For driving positions, possess a valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record under the stated criteria, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to operate a vehicle safely; a driver's record check may also be required.
