About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The supervisor acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. A valid driver's license and at least one year of supervisory experience are required. Prior military, law enforcement, security experience, or a bachelor's degree is highly preferred. The starting wage is $25.86 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver's license; driving positions require at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare neat, legible written reports and logs.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Must upload a resume for an interview.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment depending on state and local laws and regulations.
