About The Position

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. The officer serves as a helpful professional resource while ensuring people on the property follow safety protocols.

Positions are available in Puyallup, Tacoma, Bremerton, Bonney Lake, Kent, and Sumner, Washington. Full-time, part-time, and flexible shifts are available. No prior experience is necessary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• Must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
• Perform access control at security entrances and exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises, including buildings, parking lots, and entry points, to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
