About The Position

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. The officer serves as a helpful professional resource while ensuring people on the property follow safety protocols.

Duties may include controlling access for trucks at a security gate, keeping a log of trucks entering and exiting, conducting patrols, monitoring surveillance and alarm systems, and responding to security incidents. The role also involves enforcing company policies and safety regulations, protecting sensitive information, and resolving conflicts or de-escalating situations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
• Must respond to emergencies using rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities required.
• Must participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
