About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Flex Security Guard to adapt to varying assignments and special events. Depending on the day, duties may include customer service, patrols, and surveillance. The role requires availability to work any day of the week and any shift—day, swing, or overnight—as scheduling needs vary. The position is located in Gilroy, California, and pays $20.60 per hour. A current security resume is requested. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have an active driver's license.
• Must hold a state security license and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift, including day, swing, or overnight shifts, as scheduling needs vary.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Responsive with strong problem-solving skills.
• Please include an up-to-date security resume.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably at least three months of security experience.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to identify suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
