About The Position

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. The officer serves as a helpful professional resource while ensuring people on the property follow safety protocols.

This is a full-time role at a site location. The officer performs access control for inbound and outbound trucks, keeps a log of trucks entering and exiting, conducts patrols, and monitors security systems and equipment. The role also involves responding to security incidents, de-escalating conflicts, and upholding company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience.

Responsibilities
