About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. They supervise staff on their assigned shift and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment depending on state and local laws and regulations.
• For driving positions, possess a valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record under the stated criteria, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a required vehicle.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate quality security services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
