About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor for a data center. The supervisor oversees and coordinates quality security services during an assigned shift at a customer location. The role serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The supervisor also oversees staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• For driving positions: valid driver’s license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record under the stated criteria, insurance meeting company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver’s record check may also be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on the assigned shift and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
