About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Harbor City, California. The role involves monitoring security systems and screens to identify suspicious activity and potential threats, documenting incidents, responding to security concerns, and helping protect people and property. Duties also include conducting patrols, controlling access to secure areas, verifying visitor identities, checking security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions, and collaborating with law enforcement during serious incidents or emergencies.

The position is part-time, with a set schedule of Sunday and Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The hourly wage is $22.50. A uniform is provided at no cost. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have strong customer service skills.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
