About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Surveillance Security Officer for a retail bank site in Victorville, California. The role focuses on observing security screens, identifying potential threats, protecting people and property, and providing customer service. The schedule is Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The pay is $20.60 per hour.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and have completed additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identity, and provide directions.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
