About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an armed Surveillance Security Officer in Portland, Oregon. The officer will monitor screens and observe for potential threats in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The role includes documenting incidents, responding to threats, patrolling premises, controlling access, and helping protect people and property.

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday and Wednesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for a total of 41 hours. The hourly wage is $28.70. A background check and drug screening are required after an offer of employment.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have at least one year of armed security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Hold an Armed DPSST.
• Be at least 21 years old.
