About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a full-time Surveillance Security Officer in Huntsville, Alabama. The officer monitors security systems and screens to spot threats before they escalate, in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., at $17.00 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
• Must have a valid Alabama Unarmed Security License.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.

• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
