About The Position

KRE Security is hiring a dependable, alert, and professional Security Patrol Officer for a permanent post in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and no rotating shifts. The officer will conduct routine patrols, monitor the property and surrounding areas, and respond to suspicious activity, disturbances, safety concerns, and emergencies. The role includes working outdoors in varying weather and requires comfort around wildlife in an urban environment. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate strong observation and communication skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance, dependable work ethic, and punctual attendance.
• Be able to remain alert for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Be comfortable around wildlife in an urban environment.
• Pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional security presence at the assigned site.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property and surrounding areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and incidents.
• Respond appropriately to disturbances and emergencies.
• Monitor property conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Follow post orders and client policies.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports using Belfry software.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members.
