About The Position

KRE Security is hiring a dependable, alert, and professional Security Patrol Officer for a stable, long-term assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The full-time position has a permanent post and a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with no rotating shifts. The officer will maintain a security presence, patrol the property and surrounding areas, monitor conditions, and respond to incidents. The work involves being outdoors in varying weather and requires comfort around wildlife in an urban environment.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour. Overtime opportunities and paid training are available. PTO of up to 40 hours is earned after the 60-day probationary period. Health benefits are available to employees working 30 or more hours per week after completing that probationary period. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Have strong observation and communication skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance, dependable work ethic, and punctual attendance.
• Be able to remain alert for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Be comfortable around wildlife in an urban environment.
• Pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional security presence at the assigned site.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property and surrounding areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and incidents.
• Respond appropriately to disturbances and emergencies.
• Monitor property conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Follow post orders and client policies.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports using Belfry software.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members.
