About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer for a logistics and distribution location in Dallas, Texas. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role includes responding to incidents and monitoring authorized access in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.
Nice To Haves
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
- Verify visitor, contractor, and driver authorization according to site-specific procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and logs.
