About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Evansville, Indiana. The officer will safeguard employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by conducting routine and random patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment. The role is scheduled for evening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Pay is $16.39 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Pass a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
Complete accurate reports, logs, and other required documentation related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and security observations.
