About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Shreveport, Louisiana. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned facilities and surrounding areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. The role involves professional communication with employees and visitors, responding to security concerns, and providing customer service. The pay rate is $16.38 per hour, paid weekly. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology facilities, office areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site policies, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established site protocols, and notify appropriate contacts.
Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence that helps deter unauthorized activity.
